Devices:
Diamond Microwave Devices is engaged in the development of novel semiconductor devices based on CVD diamond. Its goal is to create a practical transistor using CVD diamond grown by Element Six Ltd. If successful, these transistors could revolutionise the design of future generations of high-power microwave power modules
High-Power Amplifiers:
As a pre-cursor to the use of diamond, DMD is developing high power microwave amplifier technology using GaN transistors. A compact high-power microwave amplifier architecture has been demonstrated with pulsed power output in excess of 120W.
